Aventus: the one everyone asks about
Aventus was launched in 2010, created by Jean-Christophe Hérault and Erwin Creed, and Fragrantica files it as a fruity chypre for men. It opens on bergamot, black currant, apple, lemon and pink pepper. The heart is pineapple, patchouli and Moroccan jasmine, and the base is birch, musk, oak moss, cedarwood and ambroxan.
On skin, Aventus is the pineapple and the smoke: bright, juicy fruit over a dry, smoky birch and a mossy, woody base. It is confident, fresh and very easy to like, which is why so many fragrances have tried to imitate it. A sample of the original is the reference point.
Queen of Silk: rich, floral and oud
Queen of Silk is from 2024, an oriental floral for women. Saffron, osmanthus and magnolia open it. The heart is tuberose, patchouli, passion fruit and oud, and the base is Madagascar vanilla, ambroxan, myrrh, musk, incense and cedarwood.
It is opulent: creamy white flowers and fruit over oud, incense and vanilla. It is an evening fragrance, and a natural choice for anyone who loves rich florals and the warmth of oud and resins.
Eladaria: Creed's new rose
Eladaria is one of the house's newest fragrances, launched in 2025: a floral for women. Pink pepper, mandarin and bergamot open it. Rose, peony, lily of the valley and powdery notes form the heart, and the base is musk, ambroxan, cashmere wood and vanilla.
Where Queen of Silk is rich, Eladaria is radiant: a fresh, modern rose, soft and powdery, made for daytime. It is the easiest of the three to wear in the Egyptian heat.
