Woud and Mood Absolute

Launched in 2024 and created by Gökhan Şimşek, Absolute is the darker, resinous follow-up to the original Woud and Mood.

Saffron and a flash of citrus open it, then it goes deep fast: smoky guaiac wood and sweet, resinous benzoin and labdanum. The base is oud and leather with the earthy, rooty smell of nagarmotha. It is a serious oud — dark, dry and very long-lasting — without the barnyard edge some ouds have.

Beverly Hills Exclusive

Launched in 2021, Beverly Hills Exclusive is built around honey, tobacco and tonka bean.

  • Opens: cardamom, clary sage, bergamot
  • Heart: honey, rose, tobacco leaves, iris
  • Dries down: tonka bean, ambergris, sandalwood

Cardamom and bergamot give a short, fresh lift before the honey arrives. The tobacco here is smooth and sweet, not smoky, with rose and a touch of powdery iris behind it. Tonka and sandalwood carry it into a creamy, ambery dry-down.
