Forever Wanted Absolu is the 2026 addition to Azzaro's Wanted line, a year after Forever Wanted Elixir. It is an oriental woody fragrance for men, and the darkest, most boozy member of the family: smoke and whisky where the earlier Wanteds were spice and citrus.

The notes

  • Opens: incense, milk
  • Heart: whisky
  • Dries down: Madagascar vanilla, woods, amber, leather

How it wears

The opening is the surprise: smoky incense softened by a milky, creamy note, so the smoke never turns sharp. Whisky comes in quickly and gives the heart its character — warm, slightly sweet and boozy, without the sticky feel of a liqueur. The dry-down is where it settles for the evening: vanilla and amber over soft leather and woods, smooth and close to the skin after a few hours.

It reads warm, dark and grown-up. People who find Forever Wanted Elixir too sweet usually find Absolu drier and smokier.

When to wear it

  • Best: autumn and winter, evenings, dinners and nights out.
  • Egyptian summer: not in the daytime heat. Keep it for air-conditioned evenings.
  • If you like: the boozy warmth of Le Male Elixir, the smoky vanilla of Spicebomb Extreme or the honey and tobacco of Xerjoff Naxos, Absolu belongs on your list.

Why a decant makes sense here

Absolu is new, and whisky-and-incense fragrances divide people. A 4 ML decant gives you about a week of evenings to see how the smoke and the vanilla sit on your skin, and a 10 ML covers most of a winter.
